Mr. McKinney was selected the new Des Moines Police Explorer Post 21 Chief. The explorers are a youth group learning police officer's duties. He is also a candidate for the National Law Enforcement Youth Representative. If selected, Mr. McKinney will travel around the U.S. with the Directors of the FBI, DCI, and US Marshals talking about the Explorer Program.
Mr. McKinney is the son of Lorrie and James McKinney IV, a sergeant in the Des Moines Police Department. He is a Senior at Southeast Polk High School and a 2nd degree black belt at Two Rivers Martial Arts. |
